Hi, I’m Ines. I’m the author of Teaching Baby to Sleep, a gentle, practical guide to building healthy sleep habits from birth to one year. This book has already brought peaceful nights to many families, but more than that, it was written with one message in mind: better sleep doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. If you can apply just one small thing each week, with consistency, you’re already on the road to discovering what restful nights can look like for your family.
For the past 25 years, I’ve worked closely with families, as a professional nanny, a postnatal maternity nurse, and now as a certified paediatric sleep coach. My work has always been rooted in care, trust, and helping parents through some of their most tender and tiring seasons. I know how heavy exhaustion can feel. When you’re surviving on broken sleep, it can feel like everything is just that little bit harder. I’ve seen it in the parents I’ve supported, and I’ve lived it myself during long nights as a maternity nurse. That experience led me to go deeper into something I’d always been fascinated by: sleep.
But I don’t believe sleep sits in a vacuum. Sleep is tied to so much more: feeding, routines, developmental changes, emotional needs, and the energy in your home. That’s why I don’t offer one size fits all solutions. I take time to get to know you, your baby, and your family, and create a sleep plan that fits your rhythm.
Because there is no comparison in the sleep world. Every baby is unique. Every family is different. My role is to help you gently uncover what works for you and your baby and support you in making it part of your daily life.
All I ask is consistency, patience, and trust. Trust in the process. Trust in yourself. Trust that your baby can learn. When that trust clicks into place, something shifts. That’s when the magic starts to happen.
