Following a period of time spent apprenticing in Tai Chi and Qi Gong in Shandong, China, I completed my Acupuncture Training at the International College of Oriental Medicine. During this time I was privileged to receive instruction around a variety of different approaches to acupuncture. This set the foundation for me to integrate the many contemporary approaches into a truly modern practice, with the intention of bringing the rich tradition of Chinese Medicine into the living breathing now.
I have extensive experience at administering integrative acupuncture with cancer patients and survivors. Through research and study into the many different conditions under the umbrella of cancer, I have learned to deploy acupuncture to patients in often quite desperate situations, through which I have developed a robust and effective approach that continues to feed into my regular practice.
My deep engagement with Eastern philosophy—particularly Zen, Taoism, and Tibetan Buddhism— continues to enrich my practice, shaping both my approach to treatment and the way I guide patients through their healing journey.
