NEUROFEEDBACK

Neurofeedback is a scientific, non-invasive, medication-free approach to improving mental and emotional capacity. We start with a brain map, which shows us which brain areas are well-integrated as well as those in need of training. 

We rely on a smooth interfacing of specialised brain areas and networks to shape our pre-conscious sensory processing. If certain brain areas lack integration, pathologies result, and we can improve grounding, motivation, focus, sleep and mood regulation with neurofeedback training, as well as assisting in rehabilitation and managing pain and neurodegenerative diseases.

Training is a pleasant process: While we watch  a movie of choice, sensors - applied comfortably on the head with a washable paste - measure EEG which gets analysed real-time. When undesired patterns are detected, the volume drops slightly and the brain pre-consciously adapts it's behaviour to restore continuity of the film. The brain learns a more efficient behaviour pattern in session, which it can then apply in social settings, work and family life. 

Neurofeedback training is evidence-based and works well with most mental health issues and sleep disorders. It is non-invasive and does not require counselling or other intrusions, though it can effectively complement other therapeutic approaches. See my website for more information: https://www.neurofeedback.io

Daniel Webster studied Neurofeedback under direct supervision of the Othmers and a founder of the field, Dr. David Kaiser, in Los Angeles. He has practiced Neurofeedback for over seven years in various locations, including working with trauma patients in South-East Asia, autistic children and adults, treating menopause, schizophrenia, athletes, artists, musicians and City workers in London.  

Daniel applies both Personalised Brain Training and the Othmer Method / ILF and actively contributes to the development of new protocols with David Kaiser and the EEG Institute in Los Angeles.

Daniel also works for the NHS in post-psychosis rehabilitation.
